Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) She was regarded as one of sport's best athletes. The 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in one Games and was also the first gymnast to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone began to take an interest in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl during a day-care field trip to Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for 11 years under the guidance of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles took home a medal for vault as well as a gold medal on the floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began playing in elite levels of competition. Two years later, she dominated the sport. What stood Biles apart was her consistency her flamboyant attitude and the high degree of challenge she integrated into her workout routines for all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
